Position:

Research Associate – Under the project on the “Accessibility of Banking Services to the Visually Impaired People in the State of Gujarat” funded by the ICSSR

Remuneration: ₹ 20,000/- per month (Fixed)

Requirements: Educational Qualification, Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Duration: Fifteen (15) Months

Essential Criteria:

(i) Postgraduate in any social science discipline with minimum 55% marks and NET/SLET/MPhil/Ph.D.
(ii) Preference may be given to the applicant who has knowledge of Banking and Financial Services/Law/Economics/Management/or her Social Sciences Disciplines focusing on Disability Studies.
(iv) Working experience in MS Office, basic knowledge of information technology;
(v) Strong analytical skills, excellent English writing and communication abilities, and the ability to manage research projects;
(vi) Working knowledge of Gujarati;
(vii) Excellent research and writing skills;

Highly desirable:

(i) Experience in empirical legal research.
(ii) Publication of research paper/article in a reputed journal.
(iii) Presentation/Participation in State or National Level Conference/Symposium.
(iv) Excellent inter-personal and team-building skills;
(v) Ability to innovate, improve academic programs or services, and pursue interesting new ideas and methods.

Mode of interview: The mode of interview shall be intimated later to the shortlisted candidates. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview in case of an offline interview.
